About

Does your company have a Mission? Do you want to increase revenue, create a positive brand, and enjoy thousands of raving fans of your product or service?

Of course you do.

Your company may have a mission statement. But does your company have a Mission? A purpose behind the business plan, and behind the bottom line? For many entrepreneurs, the answer is yes.

When companies grow with a real Mission behind the operations, real bottom line growth follows. But then again, when a company pursues a real Mission, sometimes the bottom line isn’t the most important thing to watch - rather, it’s the lives it touches, or being an entrepreneur who’s dreams come true.

Other story, when you decide to join a company you become part of an ideology, a belief system. You don’t have the luxury of believing in only what is comfortable for you. Every part of the company represents its doctrine. For you to pick and choose which you will follow and which you will ignore does a disservice to you and to the company. It takes conviction to say you don’t agree with a philosophy. It takes even more conviction to say that you do believe in the face of others who don’t.

Do you believe in your company? If you do, then no one else’s poor convictions can sway you. If you don’t believe in a certain practice of your religion, seek to change it.

If change in not in the cards, leave. If you don’t believe in the philosophy of the company, seek change. If the company won’t change, leave the company.

You owe it to yourself and everyone you work and live with to believe that your company’s philosophy and doctrine are the best. And not just the parts that suit you or are comfortable. As in things spiritual, only your true belief will inspire you to business success.
